My Story

My name is Bob Zappala and I’m a registered exercise specialist dedicated in helping my clients reach their health and wellbeing goals as safe and fast as possible. I’m based in Nundah which is located on Brisbane’s north side and is only a 10min drive from the CBD. My working hours are flexible but by appointment only.

Apart from having an extensive in depth knowledge of nutrition, human anatomy, physiology and Kinesiology, I specialise in lifestyle modifications, weight loss, fat loss, body composition, hypertrophy (muscle growth), aerobic fitness, strength & conditioning, fitness assessments as well as muscular/skeletal rehabilitation just to name a few.

Over the last few years, my love for health & fitness has led to a career change from information technology to becoming a fitness professional. In 2012 I completed a Certificate 3 and 4 in Fitness together with a number of short course electives to get the title of personal trainer and then in mid-2013 I completed a Diploma in Fitness to become a muscular/skeletal rehabilitation specialist as well.

The reason I joined the Cambridge Weight Plan team in 2012 came about from when I was doing some research for my existing fitness clients that were struggling with their weight from a nutritional point of view regardless of how much exercise they were doing. After reading and trying the Cambridge Weight Plan for myself I was absolutely wrapped with the results and how fast I achieved them and then recommended it to my clients and all of them were happy with their results they got as well.

I am able to offer to my clients’ personal training at their request as well as write up personalised exercise programs to meet their goals.
