Weight Loss:

Leanne Walshe

My Story

I moved overseas in 2016 to work in a job that didn’t allow much downtime. When I did get time to relax, I would eat and drink way too much. Then menopause hit me. I tried everything to cope and was put on HRT, but this only made things worse. It was a downward spiral of depression, my blood pressure increased, and I started to develop stomach problems.

Then my daughter visited me, she looked amazing, she had lost so much weight. She told me about The 1:1 Diet by Cambridge Weight Plan. I was skeptical about the program, thinking nothing could be done for a 57-year-old menopausal woman.

I returned home in early 2020 at the heaviest I had ever been. I was so unhappy; I couldn’t look in the mirror and did not want to buy clothes. By this time, my daughter was looking even better and so I decided that I had nothing to lose and to give it a go. So, I was introduced to my Consultant, Leanne. Leanne walked me through the steps and the products. The first week was tough going but after that it was great. Removing food made it easy. I didn’t have to go to the shops and be tempted. The program took away my food obsession, so I didn’t have to think about it until I was ready to move to the next step. I lost weight every week and I started to feel like I was coming out of my downward spiral and feel happy again.

Now I am 38kgs lighter, my blood pressure is normal, my stomach issues have disappeared. I have rediscovered my love of fitness. I want to get up every morning to go for a ride on my bike or go to the gym. I want to be fit and healthy. And now I like looking in the mirror and I love how I look in my lycra bike gear!
