I have been dieting in some way or another since I was young. I suffer from anxiety and whether it be because of work or other stresses in life, I have always turned to food as a form of comfort. I have yo-yo dieted for several years and have felt very depressed about my inability to lose and keep weight off.
Being overweight made me want to shut myself off from the world.
With the help of the 1:1 Diet, I feel I can rejoin the world and have gotten back to doing some of the things I love, like bushwalking and hard-core training. Due to my success with the program, every week my confidence has increased and I am even taking on more responsibility at work. I have learnt how to ‘love’ myself after always feeling ‘broken’ and I love the new me and my self-worth!
