My Story

Find joy in the journey
Before I started this plan I was miserable with the way I looked. Every other area of my life was wonderful. I think this is the main reason I waited so long to change. I’d paper over the cracks, and remind myself how blessed I was in my life. At that point I was raising my family, and Balancing a full time job and I didn’t make myself a priority.
I remember the very first time I stood on the scales, i was so ashamed of the numbers that flashed up. Those numbers became a starting point in my journey, like a set of personal coordinates to the woman I wanted to become.
My goal was to fit back in a dress after 24 years for my wedding renewal in Las Vegas I’d tried so many times over the years on different diets, and I had been unsuccessful every time. I think the reason I wanted to get Into a dress again for that day was it was the happiest day of my life, and it was when I was most confident in my own skin. This time it felt different, as the weeks passed by it started to become a reality.
Aug19 was the month I stepped back into a dress, and it fit like a second skin. I was so proud that I had achieved my goal.
This was the reason I became a consultant, to help other overweight people feel that same joy, pride, achievement, and elation as I did when I stood in a dress once again. I wanted them to see that if I could do it, so could they. That they didn’t have to continue to feel miserable, ashamed, or judged. To know that is possible to change your life, your health, and to maintain your weight loss.
Through maintenance I’ve learned tools to help me make good decisions and better food choices. I’ve also learned how to control binge eating.
Helping others achieve their weight loss goals is what keeps me motivated, and it helps me maintain my own target weight. It’s all about feeling confident and happy within yourself, nobody else can give you that feeling, and neither can food.
Consulting is not about the ability to walk in your clients shoes. It’s about the ability to empathise with their journey and move alongside them.
I am here to help support everyone on there
Journey to becoming a confident person again
Together we got this !
