My name is Bella and I am 26 years old. I was first introduced to Cambridge Weight Plan at the age of 18 so have been a strong advocate for the program and have seen many success stories over the past 8 years.
I was always a very active teenager and never really struggled with my weight. I remember a friend telling me she hated me one day because “I could eat anything and would never gain a kg”. How wrong could she be! After I finished high school I immediately started full time employment, I was the events coordinator for a software company in Sydney. All of a sudden I went from the active teenager who did some form of exercise every day to someone who sat on her bum and hardly left her desk. My problem though was that not only did I not change my eating habits to balance out the lack of physical activity, I actually got worse, opting for whatever fast food I could get in me the quickest so I could get back to work. As you can imagine the weight stacked on and it did so extremely fast!
As a fussy eater I found it really hard to stick to a range of different diets, I tried and failed at many! It was then that my mum actually found Cambridge Weight Plan and we decided to take the plunge together. I was so surprised at how easy the plan was to follow and even better, it was quick and I didn’t have to think too much about what I was going to eat. I successfully lost 10kg following the steps and was so impressed with just how quickly I achieved this!
Of course, life then happens, I moved over to the UK for a year, ate my way through Europe, returned home and started working as a travel agent (once again, sitting behind a desk all day for 10+ hours), moved to Brisbane and of course found myself in an even worse situation than before! To add to it all I had recently been engaged and my wedding was fast approaching! I knew there was a solution so found my closest Cambridge Weight Plan consultant and within 4 months I successfully returned back to my goal weight.
Now here we are today, 2 years married, a new baby and one happy lady who has successfully managed to maintain her weight simply by following Cambridge Weight Plan steps.
